James 197cc captain 1957 free tax, MOT exempt runs and rides in Derby, Derbyshire for sale

Recent barn find, James captain 197cc Villiers 1957 so now MOT exempted, and registered as an historic vehicle so tax is free, I got it out of a shed today, cleaned the points,plug and carb and it fired up after about 30 seconds of kicking, I have the v5 There is surface rust the paint work isn't great, this bike has been off the road since 1999 so will need a bit of fettling. I have ridden it up and down my very long drive and every thing works, lights, horn, breaks, gears, . Front tyre has a small amount of cracking, rear looks good. There my be some interest in this little bike for building a pre 65 trails bike, I also have a spare engine That is for sale @ £250, complete with carb and looks ready to fit, greeves Francis Barnett plover dot etc. Please call me Viewing welcome
