Large Sofa Bed - in need of repair in Derby, Derbyshire for sale

I bought this sofa bed from a guy who repairs furniture and sells it on. It had split at a join in the wood, so he'd put a couple of metal brackets on to give it more strength. However, shortly after having it, my friend partly fell through it one evening because it had split more. There are two areas which need strengthening better, as you can see from the photos. If anyone wants this, who can repair it, you are welcome to come and collect it. Other than that it is in as-new condition and the futon is immaculate because it was hardly used and covered up. It'd be a shame for it to end up as fire wood if the right person can mend it. It's easy to fold out, with a lift and pull motion and it slides on metal brackets. When in the bed position you attach the leg supports. Collection weekdays, after 5pm. It has already been dismantled for collection. All bolts, nuts, washers and allen keys provided.
