MOT Jan 2016 - 1997 FORD GALAXY GHIA X AUTO BLUE - 7 SEAT PEOPLE CARRIER in Derby, Derbyshire for sale
This has been an inbetween car and we are now upgrading. As you would expect at this age and mileage this car has it's issues, however since we took ownership at the beginning of March it has never missed a beat. It has taken us on trips around the country without problems. The longest run was a holiday near Lands End in which we covered nearly 1000 miles in 3 days. The Good, - Ready to drive away. - MOT until 13th January 2016. - A great engine that has gave us no problems. - Climate Control. - Tires are in a good condition. - Leather seats. - Factory fitted tinted windows. - Electric sunroof. - Electric front windows. - Rear electric window flaps. - Electric side mirrors. - Apart from the front driver and passenger seats the five seats can be rearranged or removed to create a small van. - Two keys (one for access only the other for access and driving). - New plates. - Automatic so it's a easy drive. The Bad, - One brake light is out, quick fix at a Halfords store and most will fit it. - Cruse control is dead. - Rear passenger electric windows are dead, however this stops small hands playing with them. - Rear wiper is dead. - There is an occasional gear slip when changing from Drive to Reverse, this is not a big issue but thought it would be worth mentioning. - Previous owner disabled the central locking but works fine securing manually. - Coolant sensor is dead which means the engine temperature is not displayed (not an MOT issue). - Tiny chip on windscreen, not an issue with the MOT. - Wearing on the drivers seat, although it's nothing drastic - see photos. ...and The Ugly - Small area of rust just below the rear window - see photos. - Rest of the body has minor scratches and dings but overall not bad for the age (in my opinion). This is listed elsewhere, I think I have been honest with the description however it is SOLD AS SEEN without warranties or guarantees. We all have busy lives so please don't waste your time or mine by sending silly offers, serious offers will be considered.
