2 level indoor hutch / C and C guinea pig / rabbit cage - with Ikea storage units and boxes in Derby, Derbyshire for sale

For the health and well-being of your guinea pigs a large, open enclosure like this gives plenty of room for your furry friends to run around as they wish whilst you can easily enjoy watching them having lots of fun. It is easy for you to get your pets in and out of and allow plenty of light and air to circulate as well as being able to clean and pet odour is virtually nil. They don't come up for sale second hand very often, the only reason I'm selling is my flat is super tiny ( you will see when you come to collect!!!) and we desperately need the space in the bedroom back for my daughter to play. To buy this new would cost nearly £200 so £70 is very reasonable and I'm sure will go to the first person who sees it. I am going to dismantle the cage so I can give it a super deep clean to make it as lovely as possible for you and for easy transport by car. The unit assembled is 4 cubes long and 2 storeys high. 1.45 m long, 72cm high, 74cm deep overall. ( Total height of unit when sat on included storage units is 114cm) It is freestanding on top and included in the price are 2 Ikea Kallax units (1.45 x 42cm x 39 each) which have been laid next to each other, there some struts and wheels that can be put on if you want to join the 2 units together and be able to easily move it about. There are 4 storage cubes as well as room for 4 more if you wanted. It is great for storing sawdust, hay, food, cleaning stuff etc all in one place and out of the way. ( Sawdust and hay shown in photos is not included). The storage units could also be used as 2 bookcases if you have something else to put the cage on. The enclosure has 2 loft sections accessed by a ramp and long tube. This gives a stimulating environment for the piggies to explore and have fun. Also they can have some space from each other if the want and you can separate the top level off from the bottom level easily if you wish. You could easily house up to 5 guinea pigs in this enclosure and it has been a 'piggy palace' for our 2. C and C cages / hutches are widely regarded as the ideal indoor habitat for your guinea pig as you can change the layout of the enclosure to suit your home and keep adding on extra levels / extensions as you wish by buying more panels and connectors. The panels click together easily which means it is also easy to take apart for deep cleaning or for changing the layout. You can add on more panels to make a roof and then it is suitable for rabbits. The name c &C comes from cube and corex, as it is made from metal cube grids and corex is corrugated water proof plastic sheeting that is also used for making estate agent for sale signs. It is durable and long lasting and easy to clean. You can buy additional corex on sheeting on the internet. I never got around to it for the second loft area as the wooden board has been fine covered with sawdust and straw. There are many guinea pig blogs and websites that rave about these systems, originally designed by guinea pig rescue centres as a safe and space saving way to house multiple guinea pigs together safely and with plenty of room to exercise and be happy as you can build as many storeys as you have room.
