2004 MG ZR 1.8 LPG (Autogas) converted in Derby, Derbyshire for sale

Cars

I have had this for about 3 years, and used it as a daily runner as I was covering more and more miles, so the LPG made financial sense. It was one of the original factory converted models but came with a shoddy Italian LPG system from Landi Renzo. This developed a fault, so I had the front end (electronics, injectors and pipework) replaced at a cost of about £700 with a BRC sequential system. I also had the tank and pump replaced approx 6 months after so everything matched and spoke to each other as they should. I then enjoyed months of low cost motoring at 70p per litre (which LPG still costs now) Approx 12 months ago, it suffered head gasket failure, and out of desperation, I had to buy another car, whilst I decided what to do with this one. I inteded to keep it, so I replaced the gasket, head skimmed, serviced and all back together as it should be. It's then been stood for a few months, and was MOT'd in January, and the only advisory was that the brake deiscs were rusted (which can be attributed to the fact it'd been stood) The car has covered 8 miles since then, and this is just back from the test station, and then up and down the driveway to keep it moving. The oil is still clear, its done that few miles. LPG works as it should, switches over seamlessly, and will switch back to petrol at the press of a switch. The only issue, is that it appears to be under fueling at low revs on LPG but from doing some reading, a £50 remap of the LPG fueling will sort that out. Still idles on LPG, and runs on LPG, just isolated to low revs. I had every intention of keeping it, but I've had to take it on the chin and say goodbye to it. It has new tyres on it, MOT until Jan and has super low mileage. There are a few marks on it, and an odd patch on the rear bumper as pictured, this was like it when I picked it up originally. Also a small amount of bubbling on the front wheel arch, but looks worse in the pictures that in reality. I've fitted HID headlights due to the amount of night time driving I was doing cross country. It made sense. I'm a 30 year old bloke, and no boy racer, it hasn't been modified or raced about, just up and down the A50 to Uttoxeter daily. No text messages please, calls only. The car is in Borrowash and viewings can be arranged as you wish.
